What time is check-in and checkout? Check-in time is 4 p.m. and Check-Out Time is 10 a.m. Keys must be returned to the office by this time.


Where do I go to pick up my keys? You will pick up the keys to your rental home at one of our three offices. For homes in Corolla, you will pick up your keys at our Corolla office. For homes in Southern Shores, Duck and Sanderling, you pick up your keys at our Duck Office. For homes in Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, South Nags Head and Manteo, you will pick up your keys at our Nags Head Office.

What does $500 or Security Deposit Protection Plan mean? This means that you can opt to pay a refundable $500 security deposit, or you can choose the non-refundable security deposit protection plan, which covers for accidental, reported damage up to $3000. Click here for more information.


How do I know if a home allows pets? Homes that allow pets will say Pets Welcome in the list of amenities.


What is the fee for bringing a pet? The fee on all homes allowing pets is $150 per dog. This fee is non-refundable, and covers the cost of spraying the home in between guests.


What if I am renting a pet friendly home, but I'm not bringing a pet? Simply write 0 for the number of pets you are bringing, and this fee will be removed when we receive your signed lease.


How do I find a home with a heated pool? Pools that have the ability to be heated will specify this in the amenities, along with the fee that is charged to heat the pool. If nothing is listed about heating the pool, it cannot be heated.


Are linens provided at all of your rental homes? Owners that provide linens for their guests specify this in the amenities of their rental home. If linens are not listed as an amenity, you can take advantage of our Opt-Out Linen Program. This program allows you to arrange for bed and bath linens, and is automatically included on your lease. Prices vary depending on the home. If you prefer to bring your own linens, you have the option to decline the linen package.


Why should I get travel interruption insurance? Your vacation is a large investment. You can protect this investment by purchasing travel interruption insurance, which covers your vacation investment in the event of a mandatory hurricane evacuation, death in the family, medical illness or travel delays.
